Intercom rebranded as Fin and launched Fin Operator, a Claude-powered AI agent built specifically to manage its customer-facing Fin agent — updating knowledge bases, debugging conversation failures, and analyzing performance through a conversational interface. Nothing goes live without human approval via a pull-request-style sign-off system, and the product is already in beta with around 200 customers.
